While The Kindred sounds fantastical and romantic, my food-soulmate is decidedly more mundane. I could quite happily live off hash browns and nothing else – although they do go well with all kinds of egg! Some people might consider them to be somewhat bland and ‘beige’, but I consider them to be the ultimate comfort food. Representing my introvert side, they may appear boring, but leave you feeling all cosy-warm and satisfied. And for those wilder in nature than me, they are an ideal soak-up food for the morning after! 😉
